The material is cut by a top punch-cutter  (steel strip with sharp profile, commonly known as American punch) that first presses and then cuts the material. Compared to shearing, this process is faster and less expensive, and enables to process medium and small size items. Vergomma’s machine fleet includes 2 bridge die-cutting machines.
