Shearing
Cutting system fit for any type of material processing, but more indicated for hard and high-density ones (such as metals, fibrous materials and nylon). Shearing is carried out with a 2-piece mold, made by a punch and matrix that cut the part placed in between. This type of processing is performed on small parts. The shearing molds are made by our in-house workshop.
The shearing department represents Vergomma’s original core as the shears were the first machines bought by the company when it started its business. Today, Vergomma’s fleet includes 3 manual shears, mostly used for sampling and more specific small processing, and 4 semi-automatic shears used for standard production in series.
